An
interesting and terryfing article about alleged illness (leukaemia)
linked to work in a Samsung plant. The guardian report is about the lonely
struggle of a South-Korean cab driver, Hwang Sang-ki, against Samsung, to demonstrate that his young daughter's death was caused by her exposure to hazardous kemicals at the Samsung plant in Suwon. The case also inspired a fictional film, Another promise, by the director Kim-Tae-yun, a film which has funded entirely by private donations and crowdfunding.See also in this blog: Samsung factory exploiting child labour Apple updatesSee also: sharps (Supporters for the Health of People in Semiconductor industry)See also: http://mhssn.igc.org/EHSToday-Sept09_GBrown.pdf
