From The Guardian: South Korean film spotlights claims of sickness linked to Samsung plants

Photograph: Another Promise An interesting and terryfing article about alleged illness (leukaemia) linked to work in a Samsung plant. The guardian report is about the lonely struggle of a South-Korean cab driver, Hwang Sang-ki, against Samsung, to demonstrate that his young daughter's death was caused by her exposure to hazardous kemicals at the Samsung plant in Suwon. The case also inspired a fictional film, Another promise, by the director Kim-Tae-yun, a film which has funded entirely by private donations and crowdfunding.
